In this Polygon guide, we’ll show you where to find each Bamboo Strike in Ghost of Tsushima with maps to each region and prefecture. Finding all of the Bamboo Strikes is also a requirement for the Body, Mind, and Spirit Trophy. By completing these simple memory puzzles, your character can increase the amount of Resolve they have available. Tsushima has 16 scattered across its three regions. The quickest way to do that is to find Bamboo Strikes hidden across the island.

The best way to keep your options open is to permanently raise your Resolve. Each use of a combat or life-granting skill takes one or more pieces of Resolve from the amount you have available. In order to stay effective - and alive - in combat you’ll need plenty of this limited resource. Travel to the outskirts of Mongol camp with KenjiĪfter you either confronted or defused the situation with the viper, you will need to ride to a Mongol camp to grab some navigation charts. So basically, it doesn’t matter what you pick. The only difference is that one option gives you the duel against the Viper and the other doesn’t, but it has no impact on the rest of the game. The rest of the quest will always continue on the same path regardless of your choice. Either way, you always get the same next objective. If you pick the defusing ones, it will skip the duel and instead you talk it out. If you pick the confronting ones it will result in a duel against the Viper, but you cannot kill him (the duel ends when his health is low). Now you have a set of 2 dialogue choices, you can either pick the 2 defusing dialogues (I Am Not My Father > We can work this out) or the 2 confronting ones (Watch Your Tone > This isn’t a negotiation).
